We are thrilled to announce that the Bit1 Competition is back with a bang, and this time around, we’re under new management! The reins have been passed from Helsinki Games Capital to the dynamic team behind Espoo Game LAB, and we couldn’t be more excited about this fantastic opportunity to take the competition to new heights.

The Bit1 Competition has been a beacon for aspiring game developers and students passionate about the gaming industry and our team is committed to maintaining the competition’s legacy!

For those unfamiliar with Bit1, it is a platform that invites students from across Finland to showcase their talent, innovation, and passion for game development. With this transition to Espoo Game LAB, we are confident that the competition will continue to serve as a springboard for emerging talents in the gaming sphere.

In the coming weeks, we will be rolling out updates here  and disseminating information to schools all around Finland. We encourage students and educators to stay tuned regarding the competition timeline, guidelines, etc.
